New Fire Ministries believes that our children are our future. They should be taught that at any age they are leaders and capable of ministering to others about Jesus Christ. We also believe that the same Holy Spirit that is in us is in our children. That there is no kids version. It is our passion to reach and train our children in a way that brings them closer to God, Prayer life, out reach and more.
Our Ignite Y.G. is for ages 12-17, 6th-12th grades. We meet on Tuesdays in the church sanctuary
at 6pm and get out at 8pm. This program is to help teach, equip and apply God's word in their
lives. To grow the leader in them and to call them to that now by being a leader around their
Our Embers Y.G. is for ages 7-11, 1st-5th grades. They meet one Tuesday a month. On those Tuesdays they will be taught by our Ignite Youth
(alongside our youth leaders). This night will be an introduction for them to experience a more
in-depth dive into Go's word and discipleship. While giving our older youth the chance to lead.
What to expect...
Tuesday's at Ignite
At "New Fire" we believe in equipping our youth to be leaders to their peers. To be able to stand
firm in their faith in the Lord, not just at youth but when they are out in the world they live day to
day in. We also know that we live in a world where the problems they face are not only right in
front of them but digitally as well. With all the social media platforms our youth are facing
situations we never did as kids. With the Holy Spirit as all our guide kids and adults alike, we will
be successful in our discipleship spreading the Good News!
Only let each person lead the life that the Lord has
assigned to him, and to which God has called him.
This is my rule in all the churches.
1 Corinthians 7:17 ESV
And he said to them, “Go into all the world and
proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.
Mark 16:15 ESV
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all
things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my
peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled,
neither let them be afraid.
John 14:26-27 ESV
Details about Ignite Y.G.
What to expect at Ignite Y.G. Our youth will be taught and actively engage in what faith is, who
we are in Christ, prayer, worship, how to stand strong as a Jesus freak!
A typical night at Y.G. will look like the following.
Welcome: As youth arrive at Y.G. they'll have a chance to say hi to friends. Catch up on their
week. Greet and engage with new youth.
Opener: To open things up we'll have a game or task for the youth.
Message: This is where the youth will hear a word from one of our youth leaders. Occasionally
may be in video form.
Dig: After hearing what the message topic is we will then dig in deeper. Either by breaking into
small groups or an open discussion.
How to: For this portion the youth will learn how to apply what we learned to their lives. How to
then share it with others. Could be done by demonstration or by having them act out with each
other scenarios. This portion is key for our youth. Why? Because we are equipping them to be
leaders, not just some day but now. They will be given opportunities to do so with our younger
group the Embers. The leadership they are developing will help with discipleship. A desire to
serve in their church, home and community. Attitude and personal growth.
Worship: We will wrap things up by worshipping together!
But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in
spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.
John 4:23 ESV
Goodbye: The youth will have this time to visit with each other while waiting to be picked up.
If you have any questions or concerns please email us or go to our website to reach one of our
youth leaders. Also if your youth is encouraged and desires more in becoming a leader ask
about our L.I.T Program. It is our heart's passion to see this generation to the next to catch fire for what The Lord has called for us. It is time for us, the Ecclesia (church) to take a stand in raising and equipping our
children. There is no kid size or version of the Holy Spirit and we must not act as though there
