Why I Still Share About Jesus (Even When It Costs Me)

There’s something people often misunderstand about those who openly share their faith in Jesus Christ.
They assume there must be an agenda. That maybe we’re trying to win arguments, gain followers, or push a belief system onto others.
But for many of us… it’s much simpler than that.
We share because we care.
This Isn’t About Gaining—It’s About Truth
If I’m being honest, following Jesus hasn’t added ease to my life—it has cost me things.
It has cost me relationships. It has cost me opportunities. It has even created distance between me and people I love.
So if this were about personal gain, it wouldn’t make sense.
But truth isn’t measured by what it costs—it’s revealed by what it changes.
Jesus Changed My Life
I’m not speaking from theory. I’m speaking from experience.
Jesus didn’t just give me a belief system—He gave me a new life.
He brought healing where there was brokenness. He brought peace where there was anxiety. He brought joy that I still struggle to fully explain.
The Bible says:
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
That’s not just a verse—it’s reality.
Why I Share (Even When It’s Misunderstood)
I don’t share about Jesus to argue. I don’t share to come against people.
I share because eternity is real.
Scripture reminds us:
“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” — Acts 4:12 (NKJV)
If that’s true—and I believe with everything in me that it is—then staying silent wouldn’t be love.
Real love speaks.Real love warns.Real love points people toward life.
This Is an Invitation, Not an Argument
If you’ve ever felt like Christians are trying to “win” something when they share their faith, I want to gently challenge that idea.
For many of us, it’s the opposite.
We’ve already found something worth everything—and we don’t want you to miss it.
Jesus Himself said:
“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” — John 10:10 (NKJV)
This isn’t about religion. This is about life. Real life. Eternal life.
You Can Experience This Too
The same Jesus who changed my life…can change yours.
The same peace, freedom, and joy…is available to you.
You don’t have to have everything figured out. You don’t have to be perfect.
You just have to be willing to seek Him.
“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” — Jeremiah 29:13 (NKJV)
Final Thoughts
I share about Jesus because I care about you.
Not to argue. Not to push. Not to prove a point.
But because what I’ve found in Him is real.
And if it’s real… it’s worth sharing.
Call to Action
If this spoke to you, take a moment today to seek God. Open the Bible. Pray honestly. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you.
And if you have questions—we’re here for you.
